Lomo 19a9 - LOMO 19A9 has been a popular in Russia among radio and movie people. The microphone capsule is performed in the form of a massive fixed brass electrode with an insert and a movable electrode, made of gold-coated Terylene film 5 micron thick, and tensioned over the fixed electrode. The gap between the the fixed electrode and the diaphragm is 40 microns. The acoustical labyrinth of the fixed electrode and the insert determines the directivity pattern, sensitivity and frequency characteristics of the mic. The microphone preamp is an anode repeater circuit based on the valve 6Zh1P (Western analogues EF95, 6AK5). The capsule is connected to the amplifier valve circuit which escape resistance is the capsule's load. Voltage on the valve -50-60V is the polarizing voltage of the capsule. .
